Oslo's route is long, about 16 km, because it ties the compact centre to Vigeland Park and the Holmenkollen ski jump on the hill above the city. It starts at Mathallen, a food hall in an old factory by the Akerselva river, then follows Karl Johans gate to the Storting and down to the brick towers of City Hall and the Nobel Peace Center opposite. Aker Brygge's waterfront and Akershus Castle on its point frame the harbour.

Across the harbour the Opera House has a white roof you can walk up, and the MUNCH museum leans over the water next to it. The route then heads west to the Royal Palace and the Monolith in Vigeland Park, and ends at the bonus stop, the Holmenkollen ski jump. Metro line 1 goes up to Holmenkollen; trams and buses cover the rest with one ticket.
