This route follows Hamburg's harbour from St. Pauli to HafenCity, with a loop through the city centre, about 7.5 km. It starts at the bonus stop, the old Fischauktionshalle on the Elbe, where the fish market runs early on Sunday mornings, and heads up to the Reeperbahn for the steel Beatles silhouettes on Beatles-Platz and the Davidwache police station. The Landungsbrücken piers are where harbour ferries leave.
The green tower of St. Michael's Church and the bombed-out spire of St. Nikolai lead to the Rathaus and the Jungfernstieg promenade on the Inner Alster. The prow-shaped Chilehaus, the red-brick warehouses of the Speicherstadt and the Elbphilharmonie's glass wave end the walk. The Elbphilharmonie's public plaza has free tickets on the day, and ferry 62 from Landungsbrücken is a cheap harbour tour on a normal transit ticket.
