This route follows the Turia gardens, the old riverbed turned into a 9 km park, from the City of Arts and Sciences into the old town, about 7.5 km. It starts at Calatrava's white Assut d'Or bridge and the Hemisfèric, the giant eye reflected in its pool, and passes the bonus stop, Gulliver Park, where a huge Gulliver lies tied down and children climb all over him. The glass-roofed Palau de la Música stands beside the riverbed.
In the centre are the tiled Estación del Norte, the City Hall square with its flower stalls, the modernist Mercado Central and La Lonja, the Gothic silk exchange. The Miguelete bell tower beside the cathedral and the two medieval gates, Torres de Serranos and Torres de Quart, end the walk. The Turia gardens are flat, shaded and good for running; the Mercado Central is closed on Sundays.
