Geneva's route runs from the old town over the Rhône and along the lake to the international quarter, about 6 km. It starts at the Grand Théâtre on Place de Neuve and passes the Reformation Wall in the Parc des Bastions, a long stone wall of Calvin and the other Reformers. Saint-Pierre Cathedral, where Calvin preached, has towers you can climb for the view over the lake.

The Flower Clock in the Jardin Anglais and the Pont du Mont-Blanc, where the lake becomes the Rhône, lead along the north shore past the marble Brunswick Monument to the Bains des Pâquis, a public bathing pier, and the Jet d'Eau, the 140-metre water jet. The route ends at the Broken Chair on Place des Nations, a giant chair with a missing leg, and the bonus stop, the Palais des Nations. Hotel guests get a free transport card, and the yellow boats called Mouettes cross the lake on a normal ticket.
