This walk is about 3 km and links seven sights of Palma's old town: Plaça Major, Plaça de Cort, the Basilica of Sant Francesc, Parc de la Mar, the cathedral, Sa Llotja and Es Baluard. There is one kid stop, the playground in Parc de la Mar, after the first two squares and the basilica, where the route turns towards the sea.
The old town is mostly pedestrianised, which makes it easier with children, though there are cobbles in some areas. Parc de la Mar lies below the cathedral on the old wall, with a lake that reflects the cathedral, grass, shade and a play area with swings and slides. From there the walk passes the cathedral and Sa Llotja and ends at Es Baluard, the old bastion by the sea walls.

Tips for parents
- Parc de la Mar has a fairly large play area made of several modules with swings and slides, built for different ages. The grass at the eastern end has trees that give good shade, and there are benches.
- The old town is mostly pedestrianised, which suits a walk with children. With a pushchair, be prepared for cobbles in some areas.
- Free public toilets are mapped next to the cathedral, both with drinking water. One of them is marked as wheelchair accessible.
- On Plaça de Cort, look for a dragon and a snail hidden near the town hall door, and on Plaça Major for a bird painted on one of the façades. Tell the children and let them search.
- Children can look for gargoyles of many different shapes on the upper part of the cathedral, and there is a viewpoint over Parc de la Mar nearby.
