Central Berlin: Reichstag to the Victory Column through Tiergarten

  • 4Sights
  • 1Kid stops
  • about 3.5 kmDistance
  • 1.5 hoursWith play time

This walk is about 3.4 km and links four of Berlin's best-known sights, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Victory Column, with the Luiseninsel playground in Tiergarten on the way. It stays on one side of the Spree and the Landwehr Canal, so there is no river or canal to cross.

The kid stop is the children's playground at Luiseninsel, which visitBerlin calls an idyllic place. You reach it after three landmarks, and from there the walk continues through Tiergarten to the Victory Column. It follows much of the pushchair route that visitBerlin suggests from the Brandenburg Gate past the Reichstag through Tiergarten to the Victory Column.
